Declared a national park in 1968, Bandhavgarh has one of the highest density of Bengal tigers known in the world and is therefore very popular for visitors who would like to experience a tiger sighting. In addition to tigers, the Bandhavgarh National Park also has a variety of wildlife, such as the leopard and various species of deer.
Two visits are scheduled for those who purchase the jeep safari, one at dawn and one in the late afternoon, when the animals are most active.
This museum houses many of the belongings of the King of Rewa, who came to Bandhavgarh as the preferred hunting grounds. You can also find a stuffed white tiger here, captured back in 1951 by Maharaja Martand Singh of Rewa.
