Prague

The largest city in the Czech Republic, Prague is the capital of the country and has served as the capital of the historic region of Bohemia for centuries. Prague was the permanent seat of two Holy Roman Emperors during the Gothic and Renaissance eras. The historic center is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the city attracts millions of visitors annually.

One of the biggest castles in the world, Prague Castle was where Kings of Bohemia, Holy Roman Emperors, and Presidents of Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic have had their offices. Visit the beautiful Royal Garden, several palaces and museums, the St.Vitus Cathedral, and enjoy the views of the city from here.

The Old Town

This historic center includes many notable places such as the famed Astronomical Clock (Orloj) which is mounted on the wall of the Old Town City Hall, the gothic Tyn Church, the Old New Synagogue located in Josefov which is a historic Jewish ghetto.

The New Town

Visit the Wenceslas Square, which offers visitors many shops, stalls, and restaurants. At the top of the Square is the National Museum, which is dedicated to natural history.
