City Palace
Occupying nearly one-seventh of the city, the City Palace was built using a mixture of both the Rajput and the Mughal styles of architecture.

Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds)
Built as part of the City Palace, its purpose was to allow the royal women to observe, through its hundreds of windows, the city without being seen.

Amber Fort
This fort/palace complex named after the town of Amber sits atop a hill and may be reached by foot or on elephants. The Sheesh Mahal, or Hall of Mirrors, is covered with thousands of tiny mirror tiles and is one of the fort s main sights.
