If you are traveling and departing out of LAX airport this weekend, please note that a section of the 405 freeway will be shut down from 17:00 on Friday July 15,2011 to 05:00 on Monday July 18,2011.  This will affect all other freeways in the Los Angeles area and major traffic jams are expected.  Please plan accordingly so you do not miss your flight.

The usage of the new form is effective July 01, 2011 and old forms will no longer be accepted.

The InterContinental Grand hotel in Hong Kong is doing room renovations to give it a new, fresh look.  Upgrades will begin July and will last for approximately three months.  The schedule is shown below:

We have received notification from Cathay Pacific Airways that effective May 30, 2011, there will be an increase in their fuel surcharge assessment.  To avoid the increase in fuel surcharge, clients must pay their balance in full by May 27, 2011.

We understand that there is some concern over the recent volcanic eruption in Iceland and how the ash will affect flights to London for our Europe Delight tour.  At this time, all tours are operating without interruptions.

Client safety is our number one priority.  In light of recent events in Cairo, Ritz Tours has decided to cancel its February group departures for Egypt destinations.  Clients will not be assessed any penalties and will be refunded their full tour fare (less entry visa).  We join the world in hoping that there is a swift resolution to the violence in Egypt.

To better serve clients, the Kowloon Hotel Hong Kong will be under refurbishment with the following schedule:
Stage 1: July-August 2010 the main lobby
Stage 2: November 2010-January 2011 other parts of the hotel
During the refurbishment period, the hotel will continue to operate as usual with uninterrupted services and will make every effort to minimize any disturbances to the guests.
 

We have received notification that the Chinese Embassy has increased their entry visa prices by $10. Therefore, we must increase our visa fee from $160 to $170 per person, effective immediately.

This new pricing will NOT affect existing visa processing purchases and we will honor the $160 per person price to clients who currently have purchased but have not yet processed their China entry visa through Ritz Tours.
