Arrive in Hong Kong, where we catch a connecting flight to Bangkok. Touch down in the nation s capital and transfer to our hotel for a chance to unwind before attending a Welcome Dinner with a Thai Classical Dance Show.

Day 4   |  Bangkok  (AB,L)

Bangkok is by far Thailand s most metropolitan city, but it still contains palaces and temples that reveal its ancient roots. Take a step into Bangkok s colorful past as we visit Damnern Saduak Floating Market. After lunch, enjoy the day free at leisure.

Day 5   |  Bangkok  (AB,L)

Explore Bangkok s rich cultural landscape with a visit to the Grand Palace. The former residence of the Royal family, it is now used for ceremonial occasions. Continue on to tour the opulent palace grounds and stop by the Coronation Hall and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. Visit Bangkok s oldest and largest temple, the Reclining Buddha Temple, then stop by a Thai Silk Store and Gems Factory.

Board a flight to Chian Mai, the "Rose of the North." Take some time to unwind before heading out to enjoy a traditional Khantoke Lanna Dinner Show.

Day 7   |  Chiang Mai  (AB,L)

Thailand s beloved northern capital features an eclectic fusion of unique and historic cultures. Sightseeing today begins with a trip to the famed Doi Suthep Temple, one of the north s most sacred temples. After lunch, visit some of Chiang Mai s finest handicraft villages, including the Bo Sang Village of umbrella and paper-making, and Sankhempeng Factories of silk and cotton weaving.

Day 8   |  Chiang Mai  (AB,L)

Take a morning excursion to an elephant camp, where we watch elephants display some of their talents, including log rolling and skills once used in teak harvesting. Continue on to take an unforgettable elephant trek through the jungle, passing by some of the area s most spectacular scenery. An optional rafting cruise along the charming Mae Ping River makes the perfect ending to our day. After lunch, return to the city and spend the remainder of the day free.
