Synonymous with Egypt as a whole, the Nile is the country s lifeblood and flows from the mountains in the south to the Mediterranean Sea in the north. After lunch aboard the ship we disembark on the East Bank to visit the Luxor Temple and the Karnak temple complex. The vast Karnak complex was built on a colossal scale and represents over a millennia of ancient building and enhancements. Today it remains one of the most spectacular pharaonic monuments after the Pyramids of Giza.

Day 7   |  Nile River Cruise  (B, L, D)

This morning we disembark at the West Bank to tour the Colossi of Memnon, two 1000-ton statues which are the only remains of the funerary temple of Amenhotep III.
