Day 1   |  USA - Dubai, UAE 

Board an international flight bound for Dubai, the second largest land of the seven United Arab Emirates, and get ready for an exciting voyage to India and Dubai.

Day 2   |  Arrive in Dubai 

Arrive in Dubai, the starting point of our India and Dubai adventure. One of the world's fastest growing vacation destinations, Dubai is a truly unique destination where you can journey from endless sand dunes to the bustling souks (marketplaces) all in a day. Today we check in to our hotel and spend the remainder of the day at leisure to relax or venture into the city. In the evening, we may take an optional dinner cruise along the Dubai Creek to see the unique views of Dubai at night.

Day 3   |  Dubai  (B ,L )

Embark on a half-day city tour beginning with the magnificent Jumeirah Mosque. Drive past the Emirates Towers, the Dubai World Trade Center, the Palace of Sheikh Mohammad and the Rashid Palace, and then stop for photos at Dubai Creek. Continue to Old Dubai "Bastakiya Districe" - and tour the renowned Al Fahidi Fort Museum. Take a short boat ride across the creek and stroll through the Spice and Gold Souks, admiring the rows of colorful spices and jewels. Arrive at the legendary Burj Al Arab Hotel for lunch at the Junsui Restaurant, then transfer back to hotel to enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure.

Day 4   |  Dubai - Delhi  (B )

After breakfast we transfer to the airport and board a flight to Delhi, arriving in the afternoon. This vibrant capital is one of India's fastest growing cities and contains more sights than any other city in the country. Upon arrival we transfer to the hotel and spend the remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 5   |  Delhi  (B ,L ,D )

Delhi is composed of two very different worlds: New and Old Delhi. This morning we venture into Old Delhi and ride a cycle rickshaw to Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque. We then visit the magnificent Red Fort, a marvelous red sandstone fort built on the banks of River Yamuna. After lunch at a local restaurant, we dive into the heart of New Delhi, driving past the India Gate, the Presidential Palace, the Parliament House, and the nearby Secretariat Buildings. In the afternoon, we visit the Mausoleum of Emperor Humayun, the first mature example of Mughal architecture, a distinctive style that originated in the 16th and 17th centuries. We complete our day with a visit to Qutab Minar, a specialty Indian dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 6   |  Delhi - Jaipur  (B ,L ,DH )

After breakfast, we drive to Jaipur, warmly called the "Pink City" for its colorful buildings. Upon arrival, we check in-to the hotel, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, and spend the afternoon at leisure exploring or relaxing.

Day 7   |  Jaipur  (B ,L )

Our sightseeing tour of Jaipur begins with an elephant (or Jeep) ride to Amber Fort, a fortress atop the rugged hills just outside the city. After touring this magnificent palace - a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu architecture - we venture to the Palace of Winds and Jaipure's shopping district. In the afternoon, we visit the City Palace, which covers over one-seventh of the area of the walled city, and explore Jantar Mantar, the largest and best preserved of the five observatories built by Maharajah Jai Singh II in the early 1700s. Before returning to the hotel, attend a turban and sari tying demonstration.

Day 8   |  Jaipur - Agra  (B ,L ,DH )

This morning we transit by motorcoach to Agra, visiting Fatehpur Sikri (City of Victory) along the way. Built by Emperor Akbar in the 16th century, the Fatehpur Sikri is a maze of ornate pavillions and courtyards that evokes images of opulent imperial times. After our tour, we continue driving to Agra, the former Imperial capital of India, where its treasured artifacts bear witness to the legacy of its past emperors. In the evening, we take a tonga ride to the gates of the iconic Taj Mahal, one of the world's most famous monuments that was commissioned by Emperor Shah Jana in memory of his beloved wife. The lyrical beauty of the Taj was once referred to as a "poem in stone".

Day 9   |  Agra - Delhi  (B ,DH )

After breakfast, we visit Agra Fort (Red Fort of Agra), a powerful fortress which enclosed the imperial city of the Mughal rulers. Founded in 1565 by Emperor Akbar, the Red Fort houses a large number of beautiful palaces and mosques. After our excursion, we drive back to Delhi for our last overnight stay in India.
