Day 1   |  USA (Los Angeles) - Beijing 

Board a jetliner at Los Angeles International Airport to embark on a Ritz Tours vacation to China.

Day 2   |  Arrive in Beijing 

Arrive in Beijing where you will be met and greeted by our courteous guide who will transfer you for check-in at the 5-star deluxe accommodation to relax for the remainder of the day.

Day 3   |  Beijing  (AB ,L )

With a time-honored history of over 3000 years, Beijing boasts a wealth of cultural and historic treasures. Explore the city’s rich imperial past on a city tour, beginning at the Forbidden City, so-called because it was off-limits to the peasants for over 500 years. Admire royal artifacts in the Palace Museum and cross the street to the famous Tiananmen Square, or "Gate of Heavenly Peace." Continue to the Temple of Heaven, an enormous park and altar to Heaven where emperors performed religious ceremonies.

Day 4   |  Beijing  (AB ,L )

Venture to China's Great Wall – the "Long Wall of Ten Thousand Li" – one of China's most globally recognized iconic and biggest made-made structure. Walk along the ancient steps and admire the panoramic views of serene mountains and valleys, then head to the Sacred Way. Follow the path, lined with intricately carved marble statues, to the imperial tombs of 13 Ming emperors

Day 5   |  Beijing - Shanghai  (AB )

After breakfast, we continue our city tour with visit to the exquisite Summer Palace and enjoy the tranquil landscapes of elaborate bridges and pagodas surrounding Kunming Lake. Thereafter, we board a flight to Shanghai, a booming metropolis situated on an estuary of the Yangtze River. Once known as the "Pearl of the Orient," Shanghai is China's largest economic center and one of the world's most populous city. Check in to our 5-star hotel and spend the remainder of the day free at leisure.

This morning we drive through Nanjing Road, a shopper's paradise. Arrive at the Bund and stroll along the waterfront boulevard, admiring the dazzling views of Shanghai's skyline. Continue to visit the Shanghai Museum, the world's finest showcase of ancient Chinese art and antiquities. Peruse some of the 120,000 pieces of ancient Chinese bronze works, jades and paintings then we visit the 16th century classical Ming garden, Yu Garden.

Day 7   |  Shanghai  (AB )

Enjoy the day free at leisure or join the optional full day trip to the water town of Suzhou. Known as the Venice of the East, Suzhou is renowned for its tranquil natural beauty. This tour begins at the Humble Administrator's Garden, which enjoys special designation as one of China's four most important gardens. Stroll along the marshy lakes and graceful bridges, then take a cruise along the 2000 year-old Grand Canal, the world's longest man-made waterway. This optional tour will bring you back to Shanghai late in the afternoon.

Day 8   |  Shanghai - Hong Kong  (AB )

After breakfast, board a flight to Hong Kong, a dynamic port city of towering skyscrapers and marvelous harbor vistas. A Special Administrative Region of China since 1997, Hong Kong is a place where the ultramodern collides with its rich colonial past. Meet by our tour guide and transfer to the 5-star hotel to rest.

Embark on a half-day city tour of Hong Kong as we visit the Victoria Peak. Marvel at the gorgeous panoramic vistas of the world's busiest harbor and continue to drive by Repulse Bay. Visit the bustling Stanley Market and Aberdeen Floating Community, famous for its colorful floating seafood restaurants and hundreds of its residents living on traditional fishing junks.

Day 10   |  Hong Kong - Beijing - USA (Los Angeles) 

Board your flight at Hong Kong and return to Los Angeles via flight connection at Beijing. Fly back home after the exciting trip to China's three amazing cities.
