Board your flight to Southeast Asia to journey through the incomparable nations of Thailand and Cambodia.

Day 2   |  Arrive in Bangkok 

Arriving in Thailand’s capital city of Bangkok, you are greeted by your expert guide and accompanied to your hotel.

Day 3   |  Bangkok  (AB ,L ,DH )

Explore Bangkok, Thailand’s inspirational “City of Angels.” You’ll begin your day at the landmark Grand Palace to admire the beauty of this one-time royal residence. From the Palace, stroll through the rich and varied Coronation Hall before arriving at the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Bangkok’s royal temple and home to the revered Emerald Buddha figurine. Continue on to the Renaissance inspired Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall before concluding your day with a stop at the Gems Gallery. Enjoy dinner at our hotel.

Day 4   |  BangkokAyutthayaBangkok  (AB ,L )

Travel north to Bang Pa-In and visit the splendid gardens, towers and throne rooms of the Summer Palace. Next, journey to the ancient capital city of Ayutthaya to explore its landscape of intriguing ruins, conjuring images of its storied past. Discover the wonders of this UNESCO recognized historical site before embarking on the Grand Pearl Cruise of the Chao Phraya River. Buffet lunch and coffee will be served onboard the cruise.

Day 5   |  BangkokHua Hin  (AB ,L ,DH )

Experience a taste of traditional Thai culture as you explore the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Board a Thai long-tail boat and cruise through the intricate canals of this “Venice of the East.” Take in the charm of the floating storefronts as they peddle their wares. As you conclude your time on the waterways, enjoy a local meal then board your motor coach towards the Gulf of Thailand and the seaside town Hua Hin, Thailand’s “Paradise City.”

Day 6   |  Hua Hin  (AB ,L )

Today’s tour showcases Thailand’s architectural artistry as you visit several notable Thai structures. Begin your sightseeing at the beautifully crafted Hua Hin Train Station before proceeding to the expansive Maruekhathaiyawan Palace. Commissioned in 1923 by King Rama VI this “Palace of Love & Hope” glows with the builder’s masterful use of golden and red teak. Visitors are asked to approach with reverence to experience the awe and wonder of this special place. In the afternoon, return to Hua Hin to relax at the hotel or choose to visit the splendid beaches at your leisure.

Day 7   |  Hua HinBangkokSiem Reap, Cambodia  (AB )

Enjoy your breakfast as your prepare for a day of travel. Depart the beauty of Hua Hin to return to Bangkok via motor coach. Then board a flight to Cambodia’s capital city of Siem Reap, the gateway to the Temples of Angkor. Meet your local guide upon arrival and transfer to your hotel to settle in to your surroundings at your leisure.

Day 8   |  Siem Reap  (AB ,L )

A global treasure, UNESCO describes Angkor as a “site exemplifying cultural, religious and symbolic values.” Exploring this remarkable region, you’ll first arrive at the incomparable Angkor Wat. The world’s largest religious monument, this sacred complex embodies many of the treasured cultural and spiritual traditions of Cambodia. Its value epitomized by its symbolic appearance on Cambodia’s national flag. Departing this “City of Temples,” continue your journey at the Royal City of Angkor Thom. Here you’ll tour of the Terrace of Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King, admiring the monuments of this Khmer “Great City.” As you conclude today's sightseeing, witness a magical sunset over the Cambodian countryside from atop an ancient Khmer temple.

Day 9   |  Siem Reap  (AB ,L ,D )

East of Angkor Thom, your next destination is the popular and well-conserved Ta Prohm. Largely untouched by archeologists, you’ll explore Ta Prohm’s evocative atmosphere as jungle trees intertwine with the temple ruins. Continue on to the sandstone temple of Ta Keo, the 12th century Hindu temple of Chai Say Tevoda and the early Khmer era temples of Roluos. Wrap up your day’s journey at Les Chantiers Ecole, where traditional Cambodian arts and crafts are taught and practiced. Tour the wood and stone-carving workshops as local artisans work.

Day 10   |  Siem ReapBangkok  (AB )

Return to Bangkok to spend the remainder of the day at leisure. Choose to explore Bangkok on your own or unwind at the hotel, reflecting on your many indelible experiences.

Day 11   |  Bangkok – USA  (AB )

Your adventure through Thailand and Angkor concludes as you board your return flight to the USA.
