Halong Bay is one of the world's natural wonders, where crooked limestone formations climb vertically from shimmering blue waters of the Gulf of Tonkin. The tiny islands are dotting with floating villages, sailing junks and picturesque beaches. There are several grottoes, some of which contain fascinating stalagmite rock formations.
