Today, it is one of the foremost opera and ballet theatres in the world, and home to La Scala Theatre Chorus, La Scala Theatre Balelt and La Scala Theatre Orchestra.
Galleria Vittorio Emanuele The magnificent Galleria Vittorio Emanuele is a late 19th century glass-top, barrel vaulted tunnel is one of the world s earliest premiere shopping malls. Created between 1865 and 1877, it lies in the heart of the city and connects the Duomo and La Scala.
Duomo Cathedral The impressive Duomo di Milano is an elaborate Gothic cathedral on the main square of Milan. The Duomo occupied the most important site in the ancient city of Mediolanum and took five centuries to complete. Today, it is the largest Gothic cathedral in the world and one of the most famous buildings in Europe.
