Can you send me my flight itinerary?

For our China tours your flight itinerary may be sent to you by our customer services team after the reservation is made.  If you book online you will be able to access your flight itinerary at any time by logging on to our website and clicking my trip. For Asia, Europe, Middle East, South America and Africa tours, your flight itinerary will be available after the final payment is made, usually 35 to 50 days prior to departure.

When will my tickets be issued?

Tickets are generally issued approximately 35 to 50 days prior to the trip departure date.

How can I view my reservations online?

Please login to your account to review your upcoming reservation details.

Can I accumulate mileage for the airline reservations I have made with you

Depending on the type of airfare we book, it may be possible. Please contact us to let us know your frequent flyer number with the airline at the time of booking to accumulate mileage. Our customer services team are unable to advise you how many air miles your trip will potentially earn you.

When do I receive my travel documents and what is included?

Travel documents will be mailed to you approximately 21 days prior to the trip departure date and will usually take 7 to 10 business days to arrive. The travel document package will include the hotel list, name badges, luggage tags, itinerary and Things to Know Before You Go.

Will I need a visa for my trip?

The visa requirements for your trip will vary based on the passport you are holding and the destination you are travelling to.  As a general rule, most countries require your passport to be valid for at least 6 months after your scheduled return date to the U.S.  While we update the visa requirement information as often as possible, we always recommend all travelers to check with their local consulate for the most up to date information as visa requirements can change without warning.  Please visit the Visas & Passports section to view more details regarding the visa requirements of the countries you will be visiting during your tour. Non-US passport holders must consult the relevant embassies directly in regards to visa requirements as the information listed is only applicable for U.S passport holders.

I am concerned about the political stability of the country I am visiting

Your safety, well-being and enjoyment is paramount to us.  We closely monitor global events and will never send travelers to a country with unsafe traveling conditions.  In the event that the Department of State issues a level 4 travel advisory pertaining to the country you are scheduled to visit, Ritz Tours will either cancel the trip, change the departure date, or reroute the itinerary to avoid the areas of concern.

Will refrigerators be available for my medication (ex: Insulin)?

While most hotels will have a mini fridge in each room, availability of refrigeration is not guaranteed.  Please us prior to your trip departure date if you are planning to travel with medication that requires refrigeration so we can help accommodate your needs.

What vaccinations are required for my trip?

Medical and vaccination requirements vary between countries and it is important that you check with your doctor for the most up to date travel health information for the region you are visiting.  Due to the length of most of our tours please consult with your doctor regarding existing medical/dental conditions prior to departure.

How much money should I take in credit cards/cash?

We suggest you bring a combination of cash and credit cards for your trip.  Most department stores, hotels, and restaurants will accept major credit cards such as Visa and MasterCard, however it may be more convenient to use cash if you are planning to shop and eat in smaller restaurants and shops. Each traveler is unique so spending money requirements will vary from one individual to another. Please take into consideration your own spending habits when it comes to allocating for personal expenses such as food & beverage, shopping, optional activities, and tipping.

How do I add optional tours to my reservation?

You can add optional tours to your reservation during the booking process or to an existing reservation prior to the trip departure date. Some tours will have a cut off date to purchase optional tours due to availability of entrance tickets or pre-booking requirements. Most of our optional tours may also be purchased on site, however it is cheaper to purchase them before your departure as the on-site price is slightly more expensive.

How do I cancel optional tours from my reservation?

Please note that all pre-sold optional tours are non-refundable once purchased.

Can I request seating in the front portion of the bus for the duration of the trip?

You may purchase the bus seats up to 7 days prior to departure date for Europe tours only. Once you have purchased the seats, they are non-refundable, all bus seats are allocated on a first come first served basis.

If I decide to opt out of an optional tour while I am on my trip will I be refunded?

All unused tour features including but not limited to optional tours, services and hotel accommodations are non-refundable, non-transferable, or exchangeable.
