DAY 2 Arrive in London

On arrival, meet your tour representative for a private transfer to your 4-star hotel in the city, your base for the next three nights. Enjoy the rest of the day to settle in and, if time permits, dip into this cosmopolitan city independently. Head for the buzzing West End or Covent Garden to shop for souvenirs, and this evening cherry-pick from London’s vast array of restaurants, bars, and traditional pubs for a flavor of its animated nightlife.

DAY 3 London

Perhaps wander around lush royal parks like Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens; or delve into London’s exceptional museums and galleries, such as the British Museum, National Gallery or Tate Modern. Alternatively, dive head first into London’s quirky markets and eclectic restaurants, and enjoy a River Thames cruise or scenic flight on the London Eye.

DAY 5 London - Eurostar Train - Paris, France

Today you will travel by rail to the French capital. After breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer to London’s St. Pancras station to board the high-speed Eurostar rail service direct to Paris. Traveling in comfortable standard class, soak in the views as you glide through picturesque southeast England and on through northern France. After an approximate 2.5-hour journey, arrive at Paris’ Gare du Nord station from where a private transfer will whisk you to your 4-star hotel in the city. The remainder of today is at your disposal. Perhaps refresh your energies at your hotel or make your first forays into the elegant boulevards, swish boutiques, and world-class eateries of the ‘City of Light.’

DAY 6 Paris

Join a licensed Paris guide for a full day of sightseeing in this glorious city, with private transport included. This morning, pay a visit to the magnificent Palace of Versailles. Built in the mid-17th century under Louis XIV, this former royal residence was once the home of Marie Antoinette and boasts opulent interiors including the dazzling Hall of Mirrors. Learn about French history as you tour the palace and then leave to view the Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysées. Spend the afternoon exploring the Louvre, home to Leonardo de Vinci’s Mona Lisa, before strolling around the Tuileries Garden and the Place de la Concorde.

DAY 7 Paris

The entire day is free for you to experience Paris as you wish, at your own pace. The elegant French capital needs little introduction and is always a delight to explore. Wander its leafy boulevards and cobbled lanes, people-watch over a café du lait at a sidewalk eatery, climb the Eiffel Tower, take a cruise along the romantic Seine, and roam the arty Montmartre district, home to the beautiful Sacré-Cœur. Perhaps seal your day with some retail therapy at some of the city’s elegant shopping arcades before dining at a classic Parisian bistro or catching a colourful cabaret show.
